David G. Anderson is a seasoned, award-winning Winemaker & wine enthusiast. He lives and breathes all things wine and grapes, travelling across Oregon to help wineries and hobbyists alike create great wine in an efficient and wasteless fashion.
Throughout his career, David has made his mark on innumerable wineries, spanning Oregon, California, and even New Zealand, and brings this wealth of knowledge to every project he works on. He has hands-on, real, practical knowledge of every aspect of winemaking, from harvesting to processing, barreling and bottling, chemical analysis, and flavor profile selection, as well as both wholesale and front-end sales.
David’s Efficiency Strategy
David’s educational background in general science gives him a scientist’s approach to the art of winemaking. Carefully monitoring yeast growth, barrel flavor, fruit pairings, market research, and more to create the perfect smooth sip everyone can enjoy is David’s bread & butter.
As a seasoned Head Winemaker, David is well-versed in identifying and eliminating financial waste, streamlining your business to a larger yield, and more. Supporting and training staff, cutting unnecessary fat and clutter, and choosing the best equipment for the job are all critical parts of the wine-making process that often get overlooked, but these things can all make or break an operation.
